PRINCE HARRY’S MISSION CURRENTLY IS “PROTECT” QUEEN ELIZABETH AFTER RETURNING TO THE UK: “IT’S SO GOOD TO SEE’

“First staged in 1943, The Queen has participated in every Royal Windsor Horse Show,” concludes the signature.

Queen Elizabeth has always been fond of horses and was gifted with a Shetland pony when she was only four years old. She apparently passed her love on to her daughter, Princess Anna, who became the first British royal family to attend the 1976 Montreal Olympics.

Princess Anne attended a three-day equestrian event and her daughter, Zara Tindell, attended the 2012 Olympics and won a silver medal, competing as a member of the UK Eventing team.

Queen Elizabeth II rode Balmoral Fern, a 14-year-old Fell Pony, at Windsor Home Park over the weekend in late May 2020.

Earlier on Wednesday morning, the Queen’s grandson, Prince Harry, said he was “trying” to have his children visit Queen Elizabeth on “security issues.”

The Duke of Sussex, who is in the Netherlands for the Invictus Games, sat down with Hoda Kotb at the Today show on Wednesday. The 37-year-old told a TV presenter that he wasn’t sure he would travel to the UK for the Queen’s platinum anniversary in June, partly due to safety concerns.

“I don’t know yet,” Harry admitted. “There are many things: security issues and everything else. So that’s what I’m trying to do, trying to make it possible for my kids to meet her.”

Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, visited their homeland with the 95-year-old monarch at Windsor Castle last week before kicking off the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.

“It was great. It was really nice to see her, ”said the prince. “It was nice seeing her in the privacy element.”

When the 57-year-old Kotb asked Harry if he missed his family in the UK, he replied, “Yes, I think especially in the last two years. How do you not miss your family?”

Queen Elizabeth II, as well as William, 39, and Charles, 73, did not meet Harry’s daughter Lilibet, who was born in June last year.
